photo for creatives journal1.jpg — Moira lives in Ipswich with her husband, Bob, and their beautiful Maltese one-eye puppy, Jazzy. She was a marriage celebrant for ten years, and is now retired, and enjoying having the time to continue with her love of writing.

She started writing in 2020, and has had two stories published in local magazines. She thoroughly enjoys “putting pen to paper”, and has written several short stories about her grandparents and parents, and their first home when coming to Australia, their iconic old Queenslander. She hopes to continue with these stories, eventually submitting them as a short story book.

Moira also has an interest in writing children’s books, having written a book of short stories titled “The Adventures of Jazzy the One-Eyed Pup”, which she hopes will eventually be published..

She loves to submit her stories for others to read, and is grateful to The Creatives Journal for showcasing her writing.
